The University of Colombo’s Faculty of Law, now accepting applications for the Diploma in Media and Human Rights for the academic year 2025/26. This one-year program, which is classified under the SLQF 03 framework, will be conducted in both Sinhala and Tamil and will hold lectures on weekends via Zoom.
Eligibility and Application Details
To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- Possess a General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) or an equivalent qualification.
- Hold a foundation course equivalent to SLQF level 2.
- Have completed NVQF level 4 or have a minimum of five years of work experience in a related field, along with a minimum of 30 credits as determined by the university’s academic authorities.
The course fee is Rs. 90,000. The application fee of LKR 1,000 can be paid to any People’s Bank branch using the code 335029000004.
