Diploma in Information Technology (14th Intake) – Wayamba University

Wayamba University of Sri Lanka’s ICT Center, Makandura, has announced the 14th intake for its Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) program, scheduled to commence in March 2025.

Program Highlights: Diploma in Information Technology

The SQLF-3 diploma, equivalent to NVQ Level 5, is designed to equip students with essential IT skills. The one-year course will be conducted in Sinhala and English, with classes held on either Saturday or Sunday, based on the student’s preference.

Entry Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications:

• A credit pass in Mathematics and English at the GCE O/L examination.
• Completion of GCE A/L in any stream.

Course Fee and Payment Structure

The total course fee is Rs. 57,500, payable in two installments:

• Rs. 30,000 as the first installment.
• Rs. 27,500 as the second installment.
