- The Rajarata University of Sri Lanka has called for applications for the Diploma in English (Extension) 2026 (Intake 26). The programme is conducted by the Department of English Language Teaching of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities and is open to candidates from both the public and private sectors as well as school leavers
- Mode of Study:
- Online mode or
- Physical (on-campus) mode (as per student preference)
- Examinations: Conducted physically on campus
- Eligibility:
- Passed G.C.E. (A/L) or equivalent qualification (SLQF Level 2 / NVQ Level 4), and one of the following:
- Credit pass (C) in English at G.C.E. (O/L), or
- Pass (S) in General English at G.C.E. (A/L), or
- Basic or Professional English Certificate from a recognized university, or
- National Certificate in English (NCE), or
- Pass in compulsory English examination of a recognized university, or
- Degree completed in English medium from a recognized university
- OR Advanced Certificate in English from a recognized university
- All candidates must sit for a written or oral selection test
- Passed G.C.E. (A/L) or equivalent qualification (SLQF Level 2 / NVQ Level 4), and one of the following:
