BCom External Degree 2025 – University of Jaffna

The ODLC of the University of Jaffna has announced the call for applications for its Bachelor of Commerce – BCom External Degree 2025 – Batch IX (2023/2024). Prospective students are invited to apply for this four-year specialized program under the university’s new curriculum.

Key Admission Details

Eligibility Criteria

• GCE A/L (Commerce Stream) – 2023 or earlier: Candidates must have passed with eligibility for university admission (minimum 30% in General Knowledge).
• Equivalent Qualifications: Those with other qualifications recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) may also apply.

Exemption for Prior Credits

Students who have completed equivalent coursework in recognized programs may apply for exemptions, subject to approval by the university’s academic board.

Selection Process

Admission will be based on:

• Z-Score (for A/L 2023 or prior)
• General Aptitude Test and/or Interview (if required)
