The Sri Lanka–Korea National Vocational Training Institute (K-TEC), Orugodawatta, has officially announced that applications are now open for the 2026 intake of the NVQ Level 6 Automation & Robotics Technology programme. This advanced technical programme is designed to equip students with industry-relevant skills in automation, robotics, smart manufacturing, and industrial control systems.
According to the programme details, students will receive hands-on training in key areas including:
- PLC Programming
- Industrial Automation
- Robotics Systems
- Sensors & Control Technology
- Electrical and Mechanical Systems
- Smart Manufacturing Concepts
Applicants are required to have a minimum of three (3) passes at the G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) Examination in either the Mathematics or Technology stream.
Graduates of the programme can pursue careers as:
- Automation Technicians
- Robotics Technicians
- Industrial Control System Assistants
- Smart Factory and Mechatronics Support Professionals
