North Western Province Calls for Revenue Inspector Applications 2026

The North Western Provincial Council Public Service Commission has announced the open competitive examination for the recruitment of Revenue Inspectors (Grade III) for 2026. The examination is scheduled to be held in May 2026 in Kurunegala and Puttalam.

Vacancies

There are 40 vacant positions available within the Department of Local Government of the North Western Provincial Council. These positions are permanent and pensionable.

Key Qualifications: Revenue Inspectors (Grade III)

To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Residency: Must be a permanent resident of the North Western Province for at least 03 consecutive years prior to the application deadline.
• Age: Between 18 and 30 years old as of the application closing date (the upper age limit does not apply to those already in permanent government or provincial service).
• Educational Requirements:
  • G.C.E. (O/L): Must have passed 06 subjects in no more than two sittings, including Sinhala/Tamil, Mathematics, and English. At least 05 of these subjects must be passed in a single sitting.
  • G.C.E. (A/L): Must have passed all subjects (excluding the General Test) in one sitting.
• Other: Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka with excellent character and physical health.
