Applications for BBA External Degree – SEUSL

The South Eastern University of Sri Lanka, through its Centre for External Degrees and Professional Learning (CEDPL), has announced the opening of applications for its Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) External Degree Programme for the academic year 2022/2023. Prospective students have until August 18, 2025, to submit their applications.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

1. G.C.E. (A/L) Qualification: At least three passes in approved subjects in one sitting (for candidates who sat the exam in 2022 or earlier), with a minimum of 30% in the Common General Test. Additionally, six passes in G.C.E. (O/L), including Mathematics and Tamil/Sinhala Language, not exceeding two sittings.
2. Diploma Holders: Higher National Diploma in Accounting (HNDA II), Higher National Diploma in Management (HNDM), or equivalent.
3. Technical College Certificates: National Certificate in Business Studies (2-year course), Book-Keepers Higher Certificate in Commerce, or similar qualifications from recognized institutions.
4. Professional Qualifications: G.C.E. (O/L) with AAT Stage III, CIMA Stage II, or Chartered Stage II.
5. Other Qualifications: Any other qualification approved by the Senate of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka.

Key Program Details

• Medium of Instruction: Tamil and English.
• English Medium: The English-medium programme will only be conducted if a minimum of 40 students enroll.
• Admission Process: Includes an interview and selection test.
• Non-Refundable Fees: Payments made will not be refunded under any circumstances.
