🎓 Eligibility Criteria & Physical Standards
- Pass in the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) examination in not more than two sittings in six (06) subjects.
- Must include passes in Language (Sinhala/Tamil/English) and Mathematics.
- Must have obtained at least two (02) credit passes among the subjects.
- Height: Minimum 5′ 6″ for Males | Minimum 5′ 2″ for Females.
- Chest (Male Candidates): Minimum 32 inches (unexpanded).
- Vision: 6/6 vision without spectacles (must pass LB 29 vision test).
- Age Bracket: Born between September 29, 1997, and September 28, 2008.
📝 Three-Stage Selection Process
Candidates must first undergo a physical fitness assessment consisting of:
- 1,000m Run
- Chin-ups, Push-ups, and Sit-ups
- Squat Thrusts
- Kim’s Game (Visual Memory Test)
* Only candidates scoring 50% or above in the fitness test will qualify to sit for the written competitive examination.

Candidates scoring highest aggregate marks in the written examination will be called for a structured interview carrying a maximum of 50 marks assessing extra educational qualifications, sports achievements, leadership skills, language proficiency, and IT literacy.
