The Northern Provincial Public Service Commission (NPPSC) has announced an Open Competitive Examination to recruit candidates for 27 vacancies for the post of Agriculture Instructor Grade III and Training Grade under the Northern Province Ministry of Agriculture.
The competitive examination is scheduled to be held in Jaffna in November 2025 and will be conducted by the Secretary of the Northern Provincial Public Service Commission.
Eligibility Requirements
Candidates must meet the following general and educational qualifications as of the application closing date:
1. General Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
- Residency: Must be a permanent resident of the Northern Province.
- Must have resided continuously in the Northern Province for at least three (03) years immediately preceding the application deadline, within a six (06) year period.
- OR the applicant or their parents must be natives of the Northern Province and have resided continuously in the Northern Province for at least five (05) years.
- Age Limit: Must be not less than 18 years and not more than 35 years of age on the final date for accepting applications.
