The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) has officially opened registrations for its Advanced Certificate in Science 2025/2026. It offers a unique opportunity for aspiring science students and working professionals to further their education and career paths.
Registrations are open until 15th May 2025, with spot registration available at all Regional and Study Centres (RCs/SCs) across the country.
Admission Requirements:
To be eligible for the programme, applicants must:
- Be over 18 years of age.
- Have at least six (06) passes at the G.C.E. (O/L) examination, including Mathematics and Science, or possess an equivalent local/foreign qualification from a recognized university/institute.
- Alternatively, hold any other qualification accepted by the Senate.
Pathway to a Bachelor’s Degree
Successful completion of this certificate program enables candidates to pursue higher studies at OUSL, including:
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- Bachelor of Industrial Studies
How to Apply
Prospective students are encouraged to visit their nearest Regional or Study Center for spot registration. The program is coordinated by the Foundation Academic Unit, Faculty of Natural Sciences, OUSL.
