Vavuniya, October 16, 2025 – The University of Vavuniya has announced a series of new vacancies, inviting applications from suitably qualified Sri Lankan citizens for both academic and non-academic positions.
Academic Positions
Vacancies are available in the Faculty of Applied Science under the following departments and programmes:
- Department of Bio Science – Senior Professor / Professor of Bio Science (Chair)
- Department of Physical Science – Senior Professor / Professor of Physical Science (Chair), with preference for candidates specializing in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- B.Sc. Degree Programme in Information Technology – Senior Professor / Professor of Physical Science (Chair), with preference for candidates specializing in Information Technology.
Other Permanent Positions
