The Department of Examinations has announced that the 2025 General Information Technology (GIT) Examination, which was previously postponed due to severe weather conditions, will now be conducted on January 11, 2026.
According to the Department, school candidates affected by the disaster who are unable to sit for the examination at their designated centers must notify their school principal without delay.
Furthermore, if any students within a school have been impacted by the disaster situation, the respective school principals are instructed to inform both the Zonal Director of Education and the Commissioner of Examinations (School Examination Organization and Results) to facilitate necessary arrangements.
The Department emphasized that these measures are in place to ensure that all affected candidates are provided with the required support to sit for the examination without further disruption.
