The University of Kelaniya is inviting applications for the post of Senior Lecturer (on contract for six months) in the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Science. The deadline for submission is 11th July 2025.
Required Qualifications:
- A B.Sc. Honours Degree in Microbiology with First Class or Second Class (Upper Division).
- A postgraduate degree in Food Science and Technology with a minimum of 24 months of full-time research.
- A minimum of six years of experience in one or more of the following:
- University-level teaching
- Professional practice
- Research at a recognized institution
- Postgraduate studies related to the above fields
Expertise in advanced microbial community analysis, particularly focusing on human and animal microflora, will be considered an added advantage. Salary Package:
- Rs. 269,345/- per month + Cost of Living Allowance
