The University of Jaffna is inviting applications from suitably qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the following permanent non-academic posts. Applications must be submitted exclusively through the online portal before the closing date.

1️⃣ Sub Warden (Full Time), Grade II — Male/Female — 02 Vacancies
Qualifications: A graduate of a recognized university. Preference will be given to those with experience in administration and management of Hostels.
2️⃣ Livestock Assistant, Grade III — 01 Vacancy — Faculty of Agriculture
Qualifications: G.C.E (O/L) in 6 subjects at not more than 2 sittings, AND successful completion of a one-year practical training course in Animal Husbandry conducted by the Department of Agriculture or equivalent.
3️⃣ Nursing Officer, Grade II — 01 Vacancy
Qualifications: G.C.E (O/L) in six subjects at not more than two sittings with credit passes in three subjects, AND Certificate of Competence as a Nurse recognized by the Sri Lanka Medical Council.
4️⃣ Instrument Caretaker cum Repairer, Grade III — 02 Vacancies
Qualifications: Should have sat for the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination; at least 2 years’ experience and ability repairing and fixing Musical, Dancing, or Arts & Sculpture Instruments in a Higher Educational Institute or reputed institute; experience in maintenance of issue registers and storage of instruments.
5️⃣ & 6️⃣ Gardener, Grade III (01) & Storeman, Grade III (02) — Faculty of Agriculture & Engineering Service Division
Qualifications: Should have passed the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination in six subjects with at least two credit passes in not more than two sittings.
7️⃣ Postmortem Labourer, Grade III — 03 Vacancies
Qualifications: Should have sat for the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination.

- Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
- Should be physically and mentally fit to discharge duties of the post well and should be ready to serve in any part of the island.
- Should be of excellent moral character.

Applicants must upload certified copies of all relevant certificates through the online portal. Educational/professional qualifications and experience will only be considered as at the closing date of applications — applications without uploaded certificate/experience copies will be rejected.

The downloaded application must be duly endorsed by the Head of the respective Institution and forwarded by registered post to the Deputy Registrar, Non-Academic Establishments, University of Jaffna, P.O Box 57, Thirunelvely, Jaffna, on or before the closing date. The age limit does not apply to applicants from these categories.
