Teacher Service EB II Exam Date Rescheduled Overview

The Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka, has officially released a notice regarding the Efficiency Bar Examination II for Officers in the Sri Lanka Teacher Service – 2026. This examination applies to teachers serving across all national and provincial public schools island-wide.

According to the official circular issued on October 2, 2026, signed by Additional Commissioner General of Examinations (Institutional Examinations) P.S. Perera, the examination has been rescheduled to be conducted on October 31, 2026. Administrative Instructions for Zonal & Regional Offices

• Facilitation Requirements: All Provincial Directors of Education, Zonal Directors of Education, and heads of regional education offices have been advised to set up designated examination centers for candidate teachers.
• Staff Allocation: Invigilators, supervisors, and support staff must be appointed and deployed to facilitate smooth examination procedures on October 31, 2026.
• Candidate Verification: Teachers sitting for the EB II examination should verify their admission status and allocated center details with their respective Zonal Education Offices.
