Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Film and Television Studies (Sinhala Medium) – University of Kelaniya (2024/2025 Academic Year)

The University of Kelaniya invites applications from eligible candidates for the Aptitude Test for  Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Film and Television Studies (Sinhala Medium) for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. G.C.E. Advanced Level (2024 Examination):
   • Must have obtained a minimum “S” (Simple Pass) grade in any three subjects.
2. Aptitude Test:
   Applicants must undergo a two-stage selection process:
   • (1) Written Examination:
     • Covers Film & Television Studies, general knowledge, film & TV history, and creative writing.
     • Exam will be conducted in Sinhala only.
   • (2) Oral Examination:
     • Only candidates who perform well in the written test will be called for the oral exam.
     • Assesses interest, skills, and aptitude in Film & Television Studies.
     • Conducted on campus
