The Ministry of Environment, Sri Lanka has announced recruitment of Survey Assistants to the Primary Semi-Technical Service Category of the Department of Coast Conservation and Coastal Resources Management for 2026. A total of 04 vacancies are available and applications must reach the department by 03 August 2026. Selection is based on an Aptitude Assessment Interview marked out of 100, covering additional educational qualifications, professional qualifications, relevant experience and personality. Applicants must have passed at least 06 subjects with two Distinctions at G.C.E. O/L in not more than two sittings, hold a TVEC-recognized NVQ Level 2 or above certificate related to survey work, and be Sri Lankan citizens aged between 18 and 45 years. The post is permanent and pensionable with a monthly salary of Rs. 41,800 – Rs. 65,560 under the PL-2-2025 salary scale.
