The Ministry of Public Administration has issued Circular 31/2025 announcing that a special advance of up to Rs. 4,000 will be granted annually to eligible public sector employees.
According to the circular issued on December 10, 2025, the facility will be available to all permanent public officers, as well as temporary and casual employees with at least three months of continuous service and confirmed employment until the end of the year.
The advance will be disbursed between January 1 and February 28 each year and recovered in ten equal monthly installments with an annual interest rate of 8 percent.
