🚍 Driver Vacancies — Requirements

G.C.E. (O/L) examination with 6 subjects and 2 credit passes, in not more than two sittings.
Age between 21 and 45 years.
A valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence with more than 3 years’ experience.
Minimum weight of 45 kg.
Minimum height of 5 feet 3 inches.
Good health.
Experience as a Heavy Passenger Vehicle Driver from a recognized institution will be considered an added advantage.

🎫 Conductor Vacancies — Requirements

G.C.E. (O/L) examination with 6 subjects, including Mathematics and Mother Tongue, with 2 credit passes in not more than two sittings.
Age between 18 and 45 years.
Minimum weight of 41 kg.
Minimum height of 5 feet.
Good health.

🚍 Driver Basic Allowance

Rs. 40,834 / month

🎫 Conductor Basic Allowance

Rs. 40,008 / month

📈 Cost of Living Allowance

Rs. 17,800 (plus overtime & incentive allowances)

🏦 EPF / ETF

Employer contributions: EPF 8%, ETF 12%

Other benefits mentioned in the notice include a duty assignment on a roster basis after recruitment and a travel pass for travel within 30 km to and from the workplace.

📝 Selection Process

Recruitment will be based on an interview, practical test and the results of the training programme, according to SLTB procedures. The notice further states that transfers will not be entertained after appointment.
