SLIATE HND Courses 2026 – Applications Open for Higher National Diploma Admission
The Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education (SLIATE), under the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education, has called applications for admission to Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the Academic Year 2026.
The SLIATE HND Courses 2026 admissions are now open. The Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education invites applications for its Higher National Diploma programmes for the 2026 academic year. Candidates who completed the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) Examination in 2025 or earlier years are eligible to apply, subject to the relevant entry qualifications. Applications close on 03 August 2026.

📝 Application Process
- Apply online only through the SLIATE online application portal.
- Read the Admission Guidelines available with the online application before applying.
- Select up to 10 ATI and HND programme combinations based on your preferences.
- Pay the application fee of Rs. 1,000 via GovPay.
- Enter the Transaction Reference Number (TRN) from the payment receipt in the online application.
- Submit the online application and print the system-generated application.
- Sign the printed application and send it, with the GovPay receipt, by registered post to your first-preferred ATI.
- Ensure your application reaches SLIATE on or before 03 August 2026.

15 HND programmes, covering accountancy, business, three engineering streams, quantity surveying, building services, English, food technology, IT, management, project management, agriculture, and tourism & hospitality.

English medium; 2–4 years (full-time and part-time). Full-time courses are free of charge.
