The Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils, and Local Government has announced the list of 54 qualified applicants selected for the final interview round in the competitive examination for recruitment to Grade III of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS) under the Merit Stream – 2024.
The selection was made from 73 candidates who passed the written examination, securing at least 50% marks in each paper. The shortlisted candidates include the top scorers, with the number of interviewees set at 125% of the available vacancies. Additionally, 17 candidates under the code SLASM18 were included due to tied marks.

Key Notes:
- The Department of Examinations has not disclosed individual marks to maintain transparency.
- The interview board will also not have access to the candidates’ marks.
- Inclusion in the interview list does not guarantee final appointment, as candidates must still meet all required qualifications.
