The Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils, and Local Government has announced the commencement of the SLAcS Promotion Application Grade III to Grade II (Sri Lanka Accountants’ Service).
According to the ministry’s official circular, all eligible officers are invited to submit their applications following the guidelines outlined in the 5th and 6th revisions of the SLAcS service minutes (2019 and 2021) and Public Administration Circular No. 33/2019.
Eligibility Criteria for Promotion
To qualify for promotion from Grade III to Grade II, officers must:
- Have completed six years of active and satisfactory service in Grade III.
- Have earned all salary increments during the period.
- Have passed the efficiency bar examination applicable to Grade III.
- Have fulfilled official language proficiency requirements.
- Have successfully completed Capacity Building Level III training (if recruited after February 26, 2019).
How to Apply
Eligible candidates must submit their applications using the format provided in Annex 01 of the circular.
