The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL), Faculty of Education, has announced that applications are now open for its Short Course on Research Methodology in Education, organized under the Department of Secondary and Tertiary Education.
Course Objectives
The program aims to:
- Enhance competencies in research methods in education.
- Provide hands-on experience with research methodology in the field of education.
- Facilitate the application of research skills in educational practice.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must possess either:
- A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum duration of three years from a recognized university, or
- A Master’s degree in the field of education.
Key Details
- Duration: Three months
- Medium: Sinhala, Tamil, and English
- Course Fee: Rs. 30,000/-
- Target Group: Graduate teachers, principals, education administrative officers, and teacher educators.
This course is also considered a prerequisite qualification for postgraduate research studies, including MPhil and PhD programs in Education.
