The Faculty of Education at the University of Colombo has announced the commencement of PGDE application 2025 for its Postgraduate Diploma in Education – Part Time (English Medium) programme for 2025/2026. This 18-month programme is designed for graduates aspiring to join the teaching profession or education-related organizations.
Programme Highlights
- Eligibility: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Duration: 18 months, with classes held on Saturdays and Sundays (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM).
- Fees: Course fee is Rs. 200,000, with an additional Rs. 1,500 library fee.
- Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on a written test in English and/or an interview.
