🇱🇰 කෙටි සාරාංශය (Sinhala)
රාජ්ය සහ පළාත් රාජ්ය සේවා නිලධාරීන්ගේ දෙවන භාෂා ප්රවීණතා අවශ්යතාව සම්පූර්ණ කිරීම සඳහා වන රාජ්ය භාෂා ප්රවීණතා වාචික පරීක්ෂණය (Oral Test) සඳහා වන මාර්ගෝපදේශ රාජ්ය භාෂා දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව මඟින් ප්රකාශයට පත් කර ඇත. අ.පො.ස. සාමාන්ය පෙළ විභාගයේදී සිංහල හෝ දෙමළ දෙවන භාෂාවක් ලෙස සමත් නිලධාරීන්ට languagesdept.gov.lk ඔස්සේ වසර පුරා මාර්ගගතව (Online) අයදුම් කළ හැකිය. විභාගය ශ්රවණ කුසලතා සහ කථන/කියවීමේ කුසලතා යන අදියර දෙකකින් සමන්විත වේ.

அரச மற்றும் மாகாண அரச சேவை உத்தியோகத்தர்களின் இரண்டாவது உத்தியோகபூர்வ மொழித் தேர்ச்சித் தேவையை பூர்த்தி செய்வதற்கான அரசகரும மொழிகள் தேர்ச்சி வாய்மூலப் பரீட்சைக்கான (Oral Test) வழிகாட்டல்கள் வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளன. க.பொ.த (சா/த) பரீட்சையில் சிங்களம் அல்லது தமிழை இரண்டாம் மொழியாக சித்தியடைந்த உத்தியோகத்தர்கள் languagesdept.gov.lk ஊடாக ஆண்டு முழுவதும் ஒன்லைனில் விண்ணப்பிக்கலாம். பரீட்சையானது கேட்டல் திறன் மற்றும் பேசுதல்/வாசித்தல் திறன் ஆகிய இரு பிரிவுகளைக் கொண்டிருக்கும்.

📝 Exam Structure & Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Requirements
- Officers must have passed Sinhala or Tamil as a second language at the G.C.E. O/L examination prior to applying.
- The relevant G.C.E. O/L certificate must be produced when appearing for the listening skills assessment.
- Applicants must apply only for the proficiency level corresponding to their respective public service tier.
Examination Structure & Pass Criteria
- Component 1: Listening Skills Assessment (held exclusively at the Department of Official Languages, No. 341/7, Kotte Road, Rajagiriya).
- Component 2: Speaking and Reading Skills Assessment (conducted at district/provincial level or at the Department).
- Sequential Progression: Candidates must pass the listening assessment first. Only successful candidates proceed to the speaking and reading assessment.
- Pass Mark: A minimum of 40% must be obtained in each component separately.
💳 How to Apply & Bank Payment Details
- Online Submission: Applications must be submitted online in English via the Department of Official Languages website (
languagesdept.gov.lk). Applications can be submitted throughout the year (no separate Gazette notice is issued). - Bank Details:

- Account Name: Commissioner General of Official Languages

- Deposit Slip Endorsement: Enter your Name, Address, NIC Number, and the words “Oral Exam” on the bank slip.
- Online Entry: Enter the computer-generated bank receipt number and payment date into the online application.
- Admission Attestation: The signature on the admission card must be certified by the Head of the applicant’s institution.

⚠️ Important Candidate Instructions
- Verification at Assessment: The original bank receipt, attested admission card, G.C.E. O/L second language certificate, and National Identity Card (or valid passport/driving licence) must be produced at the listening assessment.
- Non-refundable Fees: Examination fees are non-refundable and results will not be re-examined.
