The Ministry of Education, Higher Education & Vocational Education has officially called applications for admission of 210 student teachers to the National College of Education on Technology, Kuliyapitiya for the 4-Year Bachelor of Education Degree Programme (English Medium) based on 2024 A/L results.
📚 Available Courses:
✅ Engineering Technology
✅ Bio Systems Technology
✅ Information Technology
📌 Key Eligibility:
• Passed 2024 G.C.E. A/L in one sitting
• Age below 25 years as of 01.01.2026
• Unmarried Sri Lankan citizens
• Required O/L qualifications completed
🎯 Total Intake: 210 Student Teachers
(70 students per course)
💡 Successful candidates will follow:
• 3 years residential academic training
• 1 year internship training
• Degree awarded: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

Applicants already registered for state university degree programmes are NOT eligible.
