Midwife Appointment List 2026 Released Details
The Ministry of Health & Mass Media has officially released the merit rank list for the Midwife Appointment List 2026 covering successful trainees from the 2021/2022 Student Midwives batch. The selection follows the regulatory provisions set out in Gazette Notification No. 2,209 issued on January 01, 2021.
An official ceremony has been organized by the ministry to present appointment letters to the newly appointed Family Health Officers (Midwives). The list compiles rankings from island-wide training centers, including Bandarawela, Anuradhapura, De Soysa Hospital for Women (DMH), Narahenpita, Kadugannawa, National Institute of Health Sciences (NIHS), Batticaloa, Mahamodara, Kurunegala, Hambantota, and Rathnapura.

2021/2022 කණ්ඩායමේ ශිෂ්‍ය පවුල් සෞඛ්‍ය සේවා නිලධාරිනියන්ගේ දක්ෂතා පදනම් කරගත් පත්වීම් ලැයිස්තුව සෞඛ්‍ය හා ජනමාධ්‍ය අමාත්‍යාංශය මගින් නිකුත් කර ඇත. නව පත්වීම්ලාභීන් සඳහා පත්වීම් ලිපි ප්‍රදානය කිරීමේ රාජ්‍ය උත්සවය කොළඹ අරලියගහ මන්දිරයේදී පැවැත්වේ.

2021/2022 க்கான மாணவர் குடும்ப சுகாதார சேவையாளர்களின் திறமை அடிப்படையிலான நியமனப் பட்டியலை சுகாதார மற்றும் வெகுஜன ஊடக அமைச்சு வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. புதிய நியமனக் கடிதங்களை வழங்கும் உத்தியோகபூர்வ நிகழ்வு கொழும்பு அலரி மாளிகையில் நடைபெறும்.

Appointment Ceremony Details & Guidelines
According to the official circular signed by Deputy Director General (Administration) III, U.A.S. Harshapriya Sisira Kumara, the event schedule and entry instructions are as follows:
- Date & Time: October 04, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
- Reporting Requirement: All appointees must report to Temple Trees before 7:00 AM sharp.
- Chief Guest: Hon. Minister of Health & Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa.
- Dress Code: Appointees must strictly attend in their official uniform.
- Verification: Candidates must bring their National Identity Card (NIC) for security verification.
- Prohibited Items: Travel bags, hand luggage, and water bottles are strictly prohibited inside the hall.
