The University of Jaffna is currently accepting applications for academic positions across several faculties. Qualified candidates are invited to apply for Senior Lecturer Grade I, Senior Lecturer Grade II, Lecturer (Unconfirmed), and Lecturer (Probationary) roles. • Faculty of Engineering:
  • Civil Engineering: Priority for Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Transportation Engineering, and Environmental Engineering.
  • Computer Engineering: Special consideration for those with a first degree in this field.
  • Electrical and Electronic Engineering: Priority for those specializing in Electric Power.
  • Mechanical Engineering: Priority for candidates with expertise in Machine Design, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Automobile Engineering, Control Systems, and Mechatronics.
  • Engineering Mathematics: Looking for candidates with a strong background in Mathematics and Statistics and a passion for teaching engineering applications.

• Remuneration: Competitive salaries ranging from Rs. 94,400 to Rs. 187,820 per month, in addition to academic, research, and cost-of-living allowances.
