The Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education has announced an official extension for the application deadline of the English Language Test for the Sri Lanka Principal Service 2025 (2026).
In an amendment notification issued by the Secretary to the Ministry, Nalaka Kaluwewa, it was confirmed that the closing date for online applications has been pushed back to allow more candidates to complete their registration.

- Closing Time: 09:00 p.m.
Background to the Amendment
This notice serves as an amendment to the original Gazette notification No. 2,464, which was published on November 21, 2025. All other terms and conditions stipulated in the initial notification remain unchanged.
