The Judicial Service Commission has officially announced the Open Competitive Examination for recruitment to the Post of Court Clerk Grade III in the Court Management Assistants’ Service – 2026.
According to the official gazette notification, eligible Sri Lankan citizens are invited to apply for this permanent government position within the judicial sector. Educational Qualifications Required
Applicants must fulfill the following educational requirements:
- Passed six (06) subjects at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination in one sitting.

- Sinhala/Tamil Language
- Mathematics
- English
- Passed the G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) Examination in one sitting.
Examination Structure
The competitive examination consists of two written question papers:
- Language Proficiency
- Aptitude Test
Each paper carries 100 marks, and candidates must obtain a minimum of 40 marks for each paper to qualify.
Age Limit
Applicants must be:
- Not less than 18 years of age
- Not more than 32 years of age
The age limit will be calculated as at 15 May 2026.
