The Faculty of Science at the University of Colombo has officially opened applications for its BSc. External Degree Programmes – Intake 2026. These programmes offer a flexible learning opportunity for students to pursue their Bachelor of Science degrees through distance education.
The following BSc (External) degree programmes are available:
- BSc (External) in Applied Chemistry
- BSc (External) in Applied Data Analytics
- BSc (External) in Biotechnology and Microbiology
- BSc (External) in Electronics and Automation Technologies
- BSc (External) in Environment, Development, and Sustainability
- BSc (External) in Financial Engineering
Each programme has a duration of three years and the total cost starts at LKR 200,000.
