BICT External Degree – South Eastern University of Sri Lanka

The South Eastern University of Sri Lanka is now accepting applications for its Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology – BICT External Degree Programme for the 2025/2026 academic year. The closing date for applications is 09th July 2025.

Admission Requirements

Prospective candidates must meet one of the following academic qualifications:

1. G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) Qualification:
   • At least three (03) passes in approved subjects in one sitting (for candidates who sat A/L in 2022 or before).
   • A minimum mark of 30% in the Common General Test.

OR

2. SLQF Level-2 Qualification:
   • Advanced Certificate (G.C.E A/L or equivalent).

Additional Requirements:

• Six passes in the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) examination (not exceeding two sittings), including:
  • Sinhala/Tamil Language
  • English Language
  • A Credit (C) pass in Mathematics
• Selection Test: All applicants must pass the university’s entrance examination.
