The University of Sri Jayewardenepura has announced the commencement of enrollment for the BA in English (External) (General) Degree Program 2025, also known as the Bachelor of Arts in English (General) External Degree Program, for the academic year 2025. This program offers flexible learning opportunities for students who meet the eligibility criteria.
Eligibility Criteria
Prospective applicants must fulfill one of the following requirements:
- A minimum of three ‘S’ passes at the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) Examination (2000 or later).
- Four ‘S’ passes for those who sat the G.C.E. (A/L) before 2000.
- A Certificate of Teacher Training or Diploma in Teaching with credits in specific English-related subjects.
- Three passes in London Advanced Level Examinations (Cambridge/Edexcel).
- A Higher Diploma in English (SLQF Level 4) or an English-medium degree from a recognized university.
