Basic Qualifications:

- Professional Qualifications (One of the following):
- 2-year Agriculture Diploma (TVEC recognized)
- NVQ Level 6 in Agriculture
- National Diploma from Hardy Technical Institute, Ampara
- Other recognized Agriculture qualifications
Other Requirements:
- Age: 18 – 30 years (as of 31.07.2025)
- Permanent resident in Central Province for at least 3 years
- Physically and mentally fit
- Must be a Sri Lankan citizen of good character
- No prior experience required
