Senior Lecturers Gr. II and above are also entitled to one year of paid Sabbatical Leave for every seven years of service, including air passage for travel abroad.

🎓 Key Qualifications Summary

Lecturer (Probationary): Requires a specialized degree in the relevant subject area (First or Second Class Upper Division Honors preferred). Candidates must make a presentation to prove teaching ability and complete an induction training course within one year of appointment.

Lecturer (Unconfirmed): Requires academic qualifications equivalent to Lecturer (Probationary) plus a Master’s or Doctoral degree, with less than 6 years of experience.

Senior Lecturer Gr. II / Gr. I: Requires postgraduate qualifications (Master’s or PhD) along with at least 6 years (for Grade II) or 12 years (for Grade I) of experience in university teaching, research, or professional practice.

System Engineer Gr. II: Requires a 1st or 2nd Class B.Sc. Special Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, OR a pass in a Special/General Degree with 2 years of experience managing multi-user computer systems using UNIX and C.
