Sub Station Masters – Railways Department

The Sri Lanka Railways Department has invited applications for the recruitment of Sub Station Masters on a contractual basis. Vacancies are available for 25 suburban railway stations, including Vijayaradhana, Giraagama, Thimbiriyagedara, and Nawinna.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education: Applicants must have passed the G.C.E. O/L examination with credit passes (A-C) in four subjects, including Sinhala/Tamil/English and Mathematics, and a minimum of six subjects in one sitting.
• Age: Between 18 and 45 years as of the closing date for applications.
• Other Requirements: Must be a permanent resident within a 20 km radius of the applied station. Minimum height of 5.4″ and chest measurement of 32″.

Selection Process:

Candidates will undergo a written examination (testing language proficiency and aptitude) followed by an interview for shortlisted applicants.
