Qualifications: Passed three subjects in G.C.E. (A/L) in any stream AND NVQ Level 5 proficiency certificate in Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics / Multimedia / Audio Visual Techniques (or equivalent technical qualification with 1 year of audio-visual work experience).
Selection Method: Written and/or practical test and an interview.
2. Electrician Grade III (Permanent)
Salary Scale: Rs. 48,005 – 16×490 – 55,845/- p.m. (U-PL 3 [III])
Qualifications: NVQ Level 4 proficiency certificate issued by a TVEC-recognized technical/vocational institute relevant to electrical work.
Selection Method: Trade test and structured interview.
3. Caretaker-cum-Cook Grade III (Permanent)
Salary Scale: Rs. 44,575 – 16×490 – 52,415/- p.m. (U-PL 2 [III])
Qualifications: Six passes at G.C.E. (O/L) with at least 2 credit passes in not more than two sittings, alongside an NVQ Level 2 or 3 certificate relevant to the post OR 1 year of working experience in the relevant field with industrial skills.
Selection Method: Trade test and structured interview.
4. Laboratory Attendant Grade III (Permanent)

6. Nursing Officer (On Contract Basis – 1 Year)
Remuneration: Monthly basic salary of Rs. 51,095/- + Rs. 17,800/- Cost of Living Allowance + UPF + ETF
Qualifications: Passed six subjects at the G.C.E. (O/L) with at least 3 credit passes in not more than two sittings, plus a certificate of competence as a Nurse recognized by the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC).
Selection Method: Interview.
📌 General Eligibility & Benefits
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 45 years of age (For Nursing Officer: not more than 45 years).
- Allowances & Pension: Permanent posts (1–5) receive the Cost of Living Allowance and other government-approved university allowances added to basic pay. Permanent recruits will be enrolled in the Universities Provident Fund (UPF), University Pension Scheme, and ETF.
- Citizenship: Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
