University of Colombo – Sri Palee Campus Calls for Applications for Aptitude Test 2025

The University of Colombo’s Sri Palee Campus has announced the opening of applications for the Aptitude Test 2025 for two prestigious degree programs: Bachelor of Arts Honours in Mass Media and Bachelor of Arts Honours in Performing Arts. The programs, conducted in Sinhala, aim to select candidates with high proficiency for the academic year 2024/2025.

Eligibility and Requirements

Prospective students must meet the minimum qualifications specified in the University Grants Commission’s Admission Handbook for 2024/2025. Additionally, candidates must have at least a Simple Pass (S) in English at the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination.

How to Apply

Interested applicants must submit their applications online via the Sri Palee Campus website (https://spc.cmb.ac.lk) by May 22, 2025, along with the following documents:

• Certified copies of G.C.E. (A/L) and (O/L) results.
• A clear image of both sides of the National Identity Card.
• Proof of payment of the Aptitude Test fee (Rs. 2,000 per course).

Payment Details

The fee for each course is Rs. 2,000, payable to Account No. 0000719939 at the Bank of Ceylon, Horana Branch. Applicants must clearly mention their name and National ID on the deposit slip.

Selection Process

Qualified candidates will be invited for a practical/oral test in the first week of June 2025 at the Sri Palee Campus premises.
