✅ Eligibility Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- G.C.E. (O/L): Passed six subjects in one sitting with credit passes in Sinhala/Tamil/English, Science, Mathematics, and one other subject.
- G.C.E. (A/L): Passed three Science/Math subjects in one sitting, including two from Applied Math, Pure Math, Physics, Chemistry, or Combined Math.
Professional Qualifications
- Diploma qualifications relevant to the chosen track — e.g. NDT from University of Moratuwa, NDE from NAITA, HNDE, Open University Technical Diploma, or NVQ Level 6 in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Telecommunication fields.

The applicable salary scale is Rs. 57,810 – 5×890 – 5×1,030 – 10×1,300 – 10×1,340 – Rs. 93,810 (initial step: Rs. 57,810). Additional allowances, Agrahara health insurance, and official housing privileges apply based on service needs.
📝 Selection Procedure
Candidates will undergo a two-paper written examination conducted by the Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA):
