The Sri Lanka Railway Department has announced the commencement of applications for the Competitive Examination for Recruitment to Grade III in the Post of Railway Guard – 2024.
Application Deadline
Interested candidates must submit their applications on or before March 14, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications:
- General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level: Three passes in a single sitting in the Mathematics stream.
- Technical and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) Qualification: A TVEC-accredited Engineering Diploma (NVQ Level 6) or an equivalent qualification.
- Other Recognized Diplomas:
- National Diploma in Technology (NDT)
- National Diploma in Engineering Science (NDES)
- Higher National Diploma in Engineering (HNDE)
- Open University Technical Diploma
