The Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka, has released the official schedule for the practical examinations of the GCE A/L 2025 session. These exams are scheduled to take place island-wide starting in early March 2026.
Examination Schedule
The practical tests are categorized by subject code and will be conducted during the following periods:

| 65 | Engineering Technology | March 06, 2026 – March 15, 2026 |
| 52 – 59 | Aesthetic Subjects (Dancing, Music, Drama & Theatre) | March 09, 2026 – March 16, 2026 |
Aesthetic subjects include:
- Dancing (Indigenous/Bharatha)
- Music (Oriental/Carnatic/Western)
- Drama & Theatre (Sinhala/Tamil/English)
Admission Cards and Access
Candidates can obtain their admission cards through the following methods:
- School Candidates: Admission cards have been dispatched to the respective School Principals.
- Private Candidates: Cards have been mailed to the permanent addresses provided in the applications.
- Online Download: Candidates can also download their admission cards 07 days prior to the start of the exams via the official portal: https://onlineexams.gov.lk/onlineapps.
