The Ministry of Education has officially released the transfer orders for the seventh phase of the 2025 Annual/Compulsory National School Teacher Transfers.
​Effective from March 6, 2026, teachers specializing in specific subjects can view their transfer orders online. This latest phase covers a variety of disciplines, including Aesthetic studies, Vocational subjects, and Foreign Languages.
​Key Subject Areas Included:
​The seventh phase specifically targets teachers of the following subjects:
- ​Aesthetics: Music (Oriental, Western, Carnatic), Dance (Local, Bharatha Natyam), Drama & Theatre, and Art.
- ​Technology & Commerce: Agri & Food Technology and Business & Accounting Studies.
- ​Languages: Japanese, French, German, Korean, Hindi, and Chinese.
​Important Guidelines for Teachers
​The Ministry has clarified that if a teacher receives a new transfer order under this 2025 cycle, any previous or extended transfer orders that have not yet been executed will be considered null and void.
​Teachers can access their personal transfer details by visiting the official portal at nstt.moe.gov.lk and selecting the “Login as a teacher” option.
​Appeals Process and Deadlines
​Teachers who are dissatisfied with their transfer decisions have the right to submit an appeal to the Annual Transfer Review Committee. The process must be completed according to the following time
