- Be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
- Possess an excellent character.
- Be between 18 and 45 years of age as at 27.07.2026.
- Have passed six subjects with at least two credit passes at the GCE O/L Examination in not more than two sittings, excluding optional subjects.
