Master of Regional Planning 2026 – University of Jaffna

The University of Jaffna has announced that applications are now open for the Master of Regional Planning (MRP) – Batch IV postgraduate programme for the 2026 academic intake MRP-Batch-IV

The one-year programme will be conducted in Tamil and is designed to cater to graduates and professionals interested in the field of regional planning. Admission will be based on a selection examination and interview.

Master of Regional Planning (Batch IV): Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Regional Planning from a recognized university or institution; or
• An Honours or General Degree in any discipline with a minimum of one year of prior learning or work experience related to Regional Planning; or
• A Postgraduate Diploma (SLQF Level 8) or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the Faculty Board and Senate of the University of Jaffna.
  In addition, candidates with a recognized professional qualification in Regional Planning and at least one year of experience in Public Administration are also eligible
