The Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) has announced multiple staff vacancies for qualified and experienced professionals in the aviation and administrative sectors. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for several high-level positions to strengthen the Authority’s regulatory and operational framework in line with international aviation standards.

- Assistant Manager (Documents and Web Management)

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess relevant Bachelor’s or Postgraduate qualifications recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and professional experience in aviation, law, ICT, administration, or management fields depending on the post applied for.
Some positions require Chartered Membership in recognized professional bodies such as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), or equivalent.
For aviation-related posts, experience in Flight Operations, Air Traffic Management, Aviation Safety Regulation, or Aeronautical Engineering is essential. Candidates must also have completed ICAO-approved training or equivalent qualifications recognized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
Salary and Benefits
Remuneration for all posts will be based on the Management Services Circular No. 01/2023 with full implementation effective from 01.01.2027.
In addition, selected officers will be entitled to:
- Monthly salaries ranging between Rs. 185,000 – Rs. 450,000 (depending on the position)
- Fuel Allowance or Transport Allowance
- Technical or Professional Allowance
- Other benefits approved by the CAASL
Age Limits
- Deputy Director General / Director / Senior Civil Aviation Inspector / Assistant Manager: 22 – 55 years
- Technical Assistant / Board Secretary / Civil Aviation Inspector: 22 – 45 years
(Upper age limits will not apply to internal candidates.)
