CIABOC Driver Vacancies 2026: Open Recruitment Notice
The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has announced open recruitment for 46 vacancies in the post of Driver (Grade III). Qualified candidates are invited to submit applications on or before October 16, 2026, for this permanent artisanal primary-level role within Sri Lanka’s public sector.
Selection will be carried out 100% on an open basis through a two-stage evaluation process consisting of a practical Trade Test (Driving Assessment) followed by a Structured Interview for shortlisted applicants.

இலஞ்சம் அல்லது ஊழல் பற்றிய சார்த்துதல்களைப் புலனாய்வு செய்வதற்கான ஆணைக்குழுவினால் (CIABOC) திறந்த அடிப்படையில் 46 சாரதி (தரம் III) வெற்றிடங்களுக்காக விண்ணப்பங்கள் கோரப்பட்டுள்ளன.

- மாதாந்த ஆரம்ப சம்பளம்: ரூ. 43,280/- (சம்பளத் திட்டம்: AC-PL-3-2025) மற்றும் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்ட அரச கொடுப்பனவுகள்
- தெரிவு முறை: தொழிற்துறை பரிசோதனை (ஓட்டுநர் தேர்வு – 100 புள்ளிகள்) மற்றும் கட்டமைக்கப்பட்ட நேர்முகத் தேர்வு (100 புள்ளிகள்)
- விண்ணப்ப முடிவுத் திகதி: 2026 ஒக்டோபர் 16
Eligibility Criteria & Requirements
Applicants must satisfy all conditions outlined below as of the application deadline:
- Educational Qualifications: Passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) examination in not more than two sittings, obtaining at least two credit passes (including a credit pass in either Sinhala or Tamil language).
- Driving License: Valid motor vehicle driving license issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic authorizing the operation of heavy vehicles.
- Driving Experience: Minimum of three (03) years of verifiable driving experience confirmed by valid service certificates.
- Age Limit: Must be not less than 25 years and not more than 45 years of age on October 16, 2026.
- Physical Suitability: Minimum height of 5 feet, possessing sound physical and mental health to perform duties round the clock (day and night) anywhere across Sri Lanka, supported by a medical fitness certificate.

How to Apply & Submission Instructions
- Prepare the application form strictly using English Capital Letters on standard A4 size paper, following the exact specimen layout given in the Gazette notification.
- Attach certified copies of the following documents:
- National Identity Card (NIC) and Birth Certificate
- Educational certificates (G.C.E. O/L results sheets)
- Heavy vehicle driving license
- Service certificates certifying at least 3 years of driving experience
- Recent Medical Certificate confirming physical/mental fitness and height
- Two (02) recent Character Certificates
- Have your signature attested by an authorized signatory (School Principal, Justice of the Peace, Commissioner for Oaths, Attorney-at-Law, Notary Public, or a Gazetted Officer).
- Superscribe “Recruitment to the Post of Driver Grade III” clearly on the top left corner of the envelope.
