The Parliament of Sri Lanka has announced a vacancy for the post of Media Officer (Tamil) in the staff of the Secretary-General of Parliament. Applications are invited from qualified Sri Lankan citizens who are physically sound and of good moral character.
According to the official announcement, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC):
- Visual Arts (Special) in Multimedia Arts or Visual Communication Design
- Arts with subjects such as Communication, Mass Communication, Mass Media, Public Relations & Media Management, Communication & Creative Arts, Sociology, or Political Science
- Journalism
Additionally, candidates should possess at least three years of experience in journalism or mass communication.
