The University of Jaffna has officially announced a change in the schedule of its 40th General Convocation.
According to a notice issued by the Registrar, the convocation—originally scheduled to be held on 28th, 29th, and 30th January 2026 for the conferment of Postgraduate Degrees, Degrees, and Postgraduate Diplomas—has been postponed.
The revised dates for the 40th General Convocation are now confirmed as 19th, 20th, and 21st February 2026.
In line with this revision, the deadline for submitting applications for supplication has also been extended. Eligible candidates may now submit their applications up to 10th January 2026 at 9.00 a.m.
