UDA Vacancies 2026

The Urban Development Authority (UDA), operating under the Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development, has officially announced several vacancies for both external and internal candidates.

Applications are now open for a wide range of roles, from senior managerial positions to technical and primary-level staff. Interested Sri Lankan citizens are encouraged to apply by April 5, 2026 (14 days from the advertisement date of March 22, 2026).

General Eligibility & Benefits

Age Limits: Candidates for Managerial roles (MM & JM) must be between 22 and 45 years old. For Assistant and Primary roles (PL, MA), the range is 18 to 45 years. The upper age limit is waived for current Public or Corporation service employees.
Employment Terms: All appointments are on a permanent basis.
Fringe Benefits: Employees will receive a 15% EPF and 3% ETF contribution from the Authority. Additional perks include medical insurance, an annual bonus, encashment of unutilized medical leave, and access to the UDA Housing and Distress Loan schemes.
