The results of the Limited Competitive Examination for Recruitment to Grade III of the Sri Lanka Education Administrative Service (SLEAS) – 2020/2021 have been officially released. Appointments for the selected candidates will be effective from 1st September 2025.
The recruitment covers both General Cadre and Special Cadre positions, with selections made from Sinhala, Tamil, and English mediums across multiple subject areas, including Mathematics, Science, Commerce, Information Technology, Physical Education, History, Aesthetics, Engineering Technology, Biosystems Technology, Primary Education, Planning, Student Guidance and Counselling, and Special Education.
A total of over 400 candidates have been selected under various service categories and mediums. This intake marks a significant step in strengthening the education administrative structure in Sri Lanka, aiming to enhance leadership and management in schools and educational institutions nationwide.
The Ministry of Education has extended its congratulations to all appointees, expressing confidence that their contribution will further improve the quality and efficiency of education in the country.
